So what do we all think about good ol' Barry?
I personally hate when characters sacrifice themselves for humanity only to be brought back later, their sacrifice just lose all meaning.

I'm a little torn. On the one hand, I like Barry a lot and I was never there for his pre-crisis run. However, I think his death should have stayed that way. It was one of the defining moments in superhero comics history. It's not entirely meaningless now, but it does feel a little hollow.

Here's the thing to keep in mind; Barry is just an imaginary character in an imaginary universe with no rules - other than one: whatever will $ell story, GOES. With that said, I grew up with Barry. Wally was a welcome change of pace for a while, but even Wally "grew up" and now that he's a family man, the story dynamics will most likely call for, at least, a romanticaly involved character (as usual) minus the children. If you wanna argue the point, be my guest, but keep this in mind: it's easier to be the critic than the creator. I'm enjoying the current threads as they are. Wally's kids were just becoming too much for me to digest anyway...
