And his name is FRANCIS MANAPUL! DC Comics announced today that Francis and Geoff Johns would be leaving "Adventure Comics" on issue #6 to take over for "The Flash" #1 for the "The Dastardly Death of the Rogues" storyline. Click below for the initial announcement. dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2009/09/08/the-dastardly-death-of-the-rogues/Are you excited? Pissed? Confused? I'm generally excited, and confused, and sad. I'm happy because I like Manapul's work a lot. Confused because it seems so random for a title like this, and sad because I don't think he'll be around long and this book doesn't need a revolving door of artist.

On the one hand, I'm sad the duo is leaving Adventure (which I find odd regardless because I though this was one book Johns would stay on for awhile due to it being Conner)
On the other hand, I loved Manapul's artwork so far, so I can't wait to see how he interprets our fav Scarlet Speedster!

Yeah, I'm very curious to see how Manapul's drawings interpret Flash's speed and stuff like that. I'm a bit worried about that but at the same time, very anxious and hoping it'll look great.
