Superman has Lex, Batman has Joker, GL has Sinestro, but who would you consider to be overall the Flash's archenemy? I'd say The two Zooms have done some major damage to the Flashes but frankly, I think of Captain Cold as his #1. He's the consistent factor of the Flash's villains. The one who sticks to a code and never truly changes. He became one of Barry's greatest enemies and then later Wally's. I don't know, I just think of him when I think of Flash's enemies.

As much as I love Cold, I'd have to go with the Zooms. Eobard for Barry obviously, and Hunter for Wally. Not sure who I'd pick as arch-enemy for Wally BEFORE Zolomon debuted, though...and that's a pretty lengthy period.

Definitely the Zooms.
For the first 60 issues or so, a case could be made for Vandal Savage as Wally's nemesis. He seemed to pop up more frequently than anyone...
I think one of the great draws to Flash altogether is the collection of villians as a whole. The characters Barry Allen went up against were as defining to the personality of the book as anything else...

Pretty tough question. I'd say Hunter for Wally, and to a lesser extent Savage.
As for Barry...even harder. I guess I would go with Thawne because he did enough to get himself killed. lol

I have the whole arc in regular issues except for the one when Prof. Zoom first shows up and fights Wally. #3 of the arc I think...

Not sure who I'd pick as arch-enemy for Wally BEFORE Zolomon debuted, though...and that's a pretty lengthy period. I think I'd go with Abra Kadabra for Wally before Hunter showed up. Partly because for Kadabra it was personal, and partly because he posed the greatest threat. For classic Jay I'd have to go with the Thinker, just on sheer number of appearances.

Instead of choosing a single rogue I think that The Rogues as a group should be considered Barry and Wally's archenemies. What other superhero classicaly fights a group of multiple villains simultaneously as much as the Flash? Okay, that's my opinion, but if you consider that to be an invalid response because it is more than one character, then I guess I'd pick Zoom. Or Grodd. Or.. dammit, it's hard to choose just one!
