On the ComicBloc forums a user asked(pleaded) with Geoff for "one sentence? Just give us an official 'Don't worry. Wally's going to be fine' and I'll stop worrying" and Geoff Johns said the following:
I grew up on Wally West. I wrote Wally West for years. I love Wally West and his entire family. He will continue to be a vital part of the Flash universe, and that's just what I'm hoping to do - build a Flash universe. A pillar in the DCU very much like Green Lantern, but also very different.
In other words: Wally's not only going to be fine, he's going to kick ass.

So does this make me feel any better? Just a bit. He told us that we'd see some greatness from Wally in Rebirth before it started and its halfway over and we haven't gotten much. So I'll be taking it with a grain of salt, but make no mistake I stay awake at night hoping these words come true. lol How about you? How does Johns reassurance make you feel as a FLASH fan? Do you care? Should Wally even be in the monthly title anyway? Don't answer that.
