Well, I'm getting it. So are a bunch of the Rogues fans I know. It'll be nice to have all their first appearances in one volume, and it's not too pricey (although I wish they'd list the Canadian price too).

I agree. I will definitely be picking this up though I think Johns has the best handle on the Rogues, it should be very cool to have these older appearances.

If you enjoy comics from a simpler time, these are great. I love these issues, they're so bizarre and fun.
I do like how Johns writes the Rogues -- that's how I got into them and the Flash in the first place -- but then having gone back and read their early appearances, I think he's darkened some of them a bit too much. And he does love his retcons.

And he does love his retcons. Oh yeah. He's darkened Heat Wave the most IMO. I remember when he used to be just a thug with a suit and flamethrower but now he has the whole pyromania backstory and such. I don't mind though as I think it's really helped his character.
