I really wanted to love this. A huge event that really shook up the status quo of the DCU. I loved the line that(im paraphrasing) "that when the greatest evil won, the greatest hero had to return" i was physked for the return of BA. But his return was a giant let down. He barely did anything. Yes it was cool when he and Wally outran death and lead him into Darksied, but it wasn't a big epic feeling that it should have been.
I was physked when Hal was told he had 24 hours to save the universe, but it really ended up been a none event. Then all of a sudden out ofno-where Superman and a dus ex machina saves the day(lazy IMHO).
Batman's "death" wasn't a great showstopping event, but tbh i don't blame Grant Morrison for that, because no death is now, because everyone returns.
I really appreicate Grant Morrison's idea behind the event(i.e the theme been more important than the continuity) but i don't feel it really delivered. A major problem was i think people expected a huge knock down, barenuckle feast action adventure story, but it never lived up to that.
ANd what really really really pissed me off in issue number 7, was when u see the rouges with the anti life equation helmets on, even after the events of ROR, when they clearly have nothing to do with it. Do these people at DC ever communicate with each other at all?

while I havent read #7 as of yet.
barry's return wasnt all that great. I wanted to see something more extravagant that then would lead into rebirth.

Yeah I was happy to see Barry back but I thought it was a little dissapointing that all he really did was sick Death on Darkseid. I mean it was cool but I expected something with a little more...I don't know...oomph.

exactly. It was cool how Wally was involved. I hope he plays a part in the on-going series.

I'm sure he'll play a major part in Rebirth but beyond that I'm not sure. He'll probably take on the type of role that John Stewart has in Green Lantern.

That would suck. I'd prefer if he took more of a Kyle/Guy role. That would give him basically his own title
