"It Fits Him"
FN RIGHT IT DOES! LOL I can't wait for this. The gap between issues seems so huge. I guess that's because its generally our only source for Flash, excluding JSA.

Good issue. Extremely quick read, but I'm feeling that was the point. Its becoming hard to describe Ethan's art. Its consistently good, but good just doesn't do it justice. The big reveal wasn't so much of a reveal, but I'm looking forward to the explanation in next month's issue. I enjoyed the flashbacks a lot more than in previous issues. These didn't feel forced(although we still have to deal with the as-of-now retcon). Every time Barry says "Run", I instantly have this smile on my face. Especially when they're in Fallville. Loved those pages. Hal acting as a best friend and making sure Iris wasn't drenched with rain, and Barry looking at Bart and getting the feeling that he was no longer needed. I'll never understand the "I can't say goodbye" thing that heroes tend to do. It always seems like a slap in the face to your loved ones. That's why I love how when Wally was leaving Linda came with him. THAT'S how it should be. Geoff did pretty well with the page turn. The panel with Superman first appearing at Barry's side was done well, I looked over and there's Van Sciver's giant Superman. Well done both of you. I wish there was a little more in this issue, but surprisingly this is my favorite issue so far...which kinda makes me feel bad because its the issue where Barry leaves again. lol I don't quite get why Johnny and Max would touch Barry knowing what it would do to them, but I'm getting that "Finally at peace" vibe from it. Maybe Ethan can correct me...Um, that's pretty much it. I haven't re-read much of the series so far aside from the last issue, but this is my favorite so far. Here's a question though, why does it seem that Wally is the only guy who's hair was drenched out there! I mean Diana's hair should have been soaked, and Clark still had his curl! Not nitpicking, just pointing out. lol Oh, something I wasn't a fan of...well, I DID enjoy the dinner scene with Iris. That was very well done but I'm done with the bow tie. I didn't want to see its origin in the first place and now I feel it might be a running gag that has FAR overstayed its welcome. And I loved the "What's her name?" page. GREAT! Probably the second best moment behind Barry straight up dusting Superman as he should.

Here's what Ethan Van Sciver said to my above review.

Now that the villain is revealed the plot will definitely be able to move a bit more For sure. Now we just need to know how the hell he came back. And apparently that Flash of Two Worldsish cover will change that Black Flash to Prof. Zoom. Well at least I think it will...

Anyone have any theories on how our good professor has returned? So that was him in the beginning of Rebirth #1 apparently as the old looking dude...I have no idea but it seems to me he wasn't really killed when Barry broke his neck. Otherwise he probably wouldn't have aged if it was a normal ressurection.

I think he may have healed up and left Wally alone because he wasn't Barry, I guess.
That doesn't explain why he's come back all old and stuff, though. He could have gone back to his own time and time-traveled to when Barry was supposed to come back.
I think maybe the old guy at the beginning of #1 and this Prof. may be different people. Like Rival and the Prof. working together, maybe? It only makes sense that Rival would return, considering the amount of emphasis Johns is putting on Max. Keller would be a good choice for a Max-related accomplice as well, but that wouldn't make any sense considering he was focusing on Barry and his knowledge of the Speed Force, unless Prof. Zoom filled him in on it and made a deal concerning Barry or something.
On second thought, Rival doesn't make perfect sense either. That is unless he wants to kill Jay, or just cause havoc, with a deathified Barry.
