DC posted seven August covers to the Source, including Flash:Rebirth #5, which may look a bit familiar: Clever reference to the classic Flash of Two Worlds. Too bad about the construction guy, though... Also worth noting: it looks like the Cosmic Treadmill figures into Final Crisis Aftermath: Escape

Ah, that's horrible, but in an awesome way! Very clever!
RIP construction guy.

I love it. Especially Jay in the background. Very cool twist.

Love it though EVS said that this is really six issues right? Because well I'd hate for that to be the cover for the final issue. Hmmm...is Black Flash holding that staff that the murderer in the beginning of #1 used? Interesting...

Hmmm based on the cover could the new Black Flash's 'mission statement' to be to stop the Flash from saving lives?

Its weird because we've just seen Barry become the Black Flash yet here they are separate. Maybe its just a play on that the Black Flash is preventing Barry from doing what he wants.

That is f'in awesome. Is it the variant for #3?
Whichever issue it is, I'm calling my local comic shop and asking them to save me a copy (unless they're already all spoken for).

The Black Flash seems to have added a few extra joints recently. And are those split toes?
Still trying to figure out exactly how his new anatomy works.

The Black Flash seems to have added a few extra joints recently. And are those split toes? Still trying to figure out exactly how his new anatomy works. As Astroape200 said over at the 'Bloc: Flash fact: Bipedal dinosaurs and sprinting land-birds have evolved the same kind of elongated foot bones as the Black Flash to generate more power in each stride allowing them attain/maintain greater speeds while sprinting. Apply that same principal to Flashes and you can surmise that the Black Flash would be much faster than the regular Flashes. Perhaps, this is an evolutionary step due to the last Black Flash not being fast enough. Source: www.comicbloc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1455005&postcount=37

Even birds/fast dinosaurs don't have two knees on each leg, do they? BF appears to have a forward-leaning knee AND a backwards-leaning one, at least on that left leg. I suppose his leg could have been badly broken, but the structure looks deliberate.
