West and I had the honor of being in a chatroom with Mr. Van Sciver where he had some interesting things to say indeed! Ethan-By issue #3, you will have a heart attack. West-How much of my heart attack is due to your costume change for Wally? Ethan-Zero percent. West-Geoff had me looking at Rebirth #1 cover, looking for some clue! I see nothing! (but the Flash ring) Ethan-Geoff confused a lot of people with that comment. Heh. Other-I saw the Bluring, and the Shazam Bolt on his chest Ethan-Yeah, you saw what you were meant to see! The cover image, once the story is over, will make a little more sense. Prime-Any chance we'll be seeing Professor Zoom in either Blackest Night or Flash: Rebirth? Ethan-That'd be nice West-What's your beef with Zolomon?!  Prime- Yeah, Hunter rocks! Ethan-I agree. That's why we're going to kill him quickly. West-Dont joke like that! Prime-Any chance for Kid Zoom/Inertia showing up in Rebirth or Blackest Night? Ethan-Isn't he dead? Prime-So Black Lantern? West-So whats the story on this mysterious issue 6 of Rebirth? Ethan-There's a 6th issue of REBIRTH. West-Is the 6th issue like an Epilogue? Ethan-No, there was always meant to be a 6th issue, but dc thought it should be 5, and then...bah, who cares? There are 6 issues. Andrew(thegreenlanterncorps.com Admin)- Probably ought to be a Flash Rebirth Secret Files like GL Rebirth had, right? Ethan-Right afterwards, sure. West-Did you channel a bit of Infantino during Rebirth #1? Some of that first scene reminded me of his work on Flash Ethan-Thanks! No, I was thinking of Infantino during the young Barry flashback stuff. We had some fun too but those are just the Flash highlights! |

The same can be said for Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm...but I think this will finally be DC's stand on death in comics. They'll bring back a lot of Silver Age characters, and a lot of characters that they like personally(Maxwell Lord)....

A body may not be needed to be a BL ...but I'd think you'd need one to be buried and rise from the grave. I demand a 12 part maxi-series explaining this! I kind of gave Ronnie a pass since his nuclear (and intangibilty) powers might somehow facilitate remains after his explosion. Body or no body though... if dc is going full on with this event it's more fun including such characters. I could be wrong - but it doesn't seem like the focus is on the silver age in particular. We've got golden age, silver age, and from I can see thus far - mostly bronze age. |

Thanks for the link.. that tells me that Blackest Night #0 wont have much Black Lantern until the last page... at least its free!! Get it free while you can. Dido has said that should you miss out on FCBD, they will re-release #0 before BN #1 at a cost though. (50 cents or less would be nice) I haven't really read much of Hunter yet so I really can't compare but I'd be thrilled to see Eobard again. |
