Figure I would create this thread to update on random Rogue/Villain appearances and overall news with those who connect to Flash.

So to start things off, comic book legend Gerry Conway will be writing the "Last Days of Animal Man" for DC soon, and its set 15yrs in the future. Not only will the story feature a "new" Earth Green Lantern, but one of the two main villains in the series will be the illegitimate child of Evan McCulloch aka Mirror Master. Here's what Gerry had to say:

NRAMA: You mentioned some new villains. Can you tell us anything about them?

GC: Sure. We've got two. The first is a character called Blood Rage who draws his powers literally from drawing blood from other people, giving him super-strength. You could describe him as Id personified. The other character is a woman called Prismatik, and she is the illegitimate daughter of Evan McCulloch, the Mirror Master. So she has her own axe to grind, both as a person and against Buddy. Those are our two villains.

Now, excuse my knowledge, but is this going to be a Elseworlds/ out of continuity story?

I'd imagine it would have to be -- future stories never end up coming true, because so many things change between now and then. That wouldn't prevent a writer from making a future character canon in present continuity, though.

Exactly. Because Animal Man will take place during the future, take it with a grain of salt when it comes into continuity. Let it sit in the back of your mind that one day this will happen, until someone retcons the story and you can then replace it.
